There are a few no foreign transaction fee credit cards on the market today. If you do business overseas or travel there, it is obviously a good idea to get a credit card with no foreign transaction fees. Most rewards cards are either vendor specific or offer mileage on the airline of your choice. For me, I mostly travel United so I chose the credit card that offers me the most United mileage and bonuses when I use my United credit card to purchase United airline tickets. Due to my job, I’m constantly traveling and am always able to take my wife away for a long weekend using only miles. I usually stay at Marriott hotels so of course, I have the Chase Marriott card. This care also offers bonuses when you use it at Marriott brand hotels. For me, this is what makes the most sense. However, if I seldom traveled I would go a completely different route.
